Contractor Legal Advice
We are looking here at contractor legal advice.

Most legal advice that contractors are looking for is on IR35 and how to make their contracts be outside of IR35.

This can make a big difference to contractors. Contractors who are outside IR35 can operate through personal service companies. Those who are caught by IR35 will have to operate through umbrella companies.

Contractors who operate through personal service companies pay, on average, £10,000 a year less in tax and national insurance contributions than umbrella company contractors.

This can mount up over the years. So, as you can imagine, contractors want to be outside IR35.
