IR35 Explained
IR35 explained a lot for UK Contractors.
It was brought in during 1999 to catch disguised contractors, i.e. those that left a company on the Friday as a permanent employee and joined the same company again doing the same job on a Monday as a contractor.
However, it caught many more than those contractors in its net.
It caught many contractors who had been contracting successfully for years.
Now the Conservative Government want to strengthen IR35.
