Interview Questions
To be forearmed is to forearmed as far as interview questions are concerned.
If you know the type of interview questions that you are going to be asked you can prepare for them and you would be more likely to pass the interview.
There are some very common questions you get asked at interview like “what is your main weakness”.
If you answer that truthfully you can’t think on your feet and don’t deserve the job anyway.
However, it is even better to know that it is coming so that you can prepare your best answer to it. A friend of mine said, at intervew, when asked that question, that his biggest weakness was crying at sad movies”.
The interviewers chuckled at that.
I used to say that my weakness was getting too involved in the job and not realising it was five o’clock and time to go home.
The best answer is to present something as a ‘weakness’ something that they woudl see as a strength.
I knwo someone who once almost lost a job becasue he answered that question truthfully.
He had to go back for a second interview, just for that reason, before he go the job.
