Contractors Going Direct to Client
Agencies usually take anwhere between 10% and 30% of the money that a client pays for a contractors. Some unscrupulous ones take more – especially from first time contractors.
Indeed some have been known to take 50% or more from new contractors who belive that their agent works on their behalf and looks after their interests.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Contractors going direct to client are cutting out the middle man and so can keep more of the money that a client pays for the contractor.
However, few companies take contractors direct.
